The 2nd Republican presidential debate is at the Ronald Reagan Library in Simi Valley, CA.
What time is the debate?
6:00 p.m. ET for the “kid’s table” and 8:00 p.m. ET for the top 11 candidates.
Which candidates qualified for the primetime (8PM ET) debate?
Donald Trump, Ben Carson, Jeb Bush, Ted Cruz, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul and Chris Christie.
Which candidates qualified for the earlier (6PM ET) debate?
Because they polled at least 1 percent, the following candidates are at the earlier debate: Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal, George Pataki and Lindsey Graham
Former governor of Virginia, Jim Gilmore, who did appear in Fox’s first GOP debate, did not meet CNN’s requirement to appear in either of the two debates tonight.
Former Texas Governor Rick Perry announced last Friday that he was suspending his presidential campaign, and will also not appear on either debate stage tonight.
