Cyber bullying ascended to new heights last Thursday when people from around the country tweeted some “mean tweets” at President Barack Obama.
Now, one thing is certain about President Obama, even amongst those who don’t necessarily agree with his politics: he’s relatable. And being relatable, also means he has a sense of humor.
That sense of humor came in handy during his “Mean Tweets” segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the President read a few of the tweets that were recently sent his way. Watch that video above.
President Barack Obama Gets Teased
One user teased him about his Dad Jeans tweeting, “I am alright with the President wearing jeans. I am not alright with the President wearing THOSE jeans.”
Of course, what Internet roasting would be complete without a personal attack on physical appearance? One user even asked: “How do you make Obama’s eyes light up? Shine a flashlight in his ears.” Even the President himself admitted… that one was pretty good.
Those probably weren’t as mean as they could have been. You may be thinking, “What about the really mean tweets that President Obama didn’t read.”
Here’s a few “safe for work” examples:
Of course, this one was quickly deleted.
Oh, don’t forget the undisputed champ of Obama bashing on Twitter:
Sadly, because president Obama has done such a poor job as president, you won’t see another black president for generations!

But if there is any take away from the President reading his own “mean tweets,” it’s that a sense of humor can go a long way. Even if you hold one of the most influential positions on the planet, don’t take yourself too seriously.
