After the second GOP presidential debate, a CNN/ORC poll showed Carly Fiorina jumping from single digits in the polls to 15%, placing her in second behind frontrunner Donald Trump. But now that she is in the limelight, some opponents are claiming Carly Fiorina can’t withstand a look back at her business "track record.”
American Bridge 21st Century, a PAC that aims to hold Republicans accountable for their words and actions, just released this attack ad, "Tracking Carly's Record," recounting Fiorina's tenure as Hewlett Packard's CEO.
The spot starts off quoting Fiorina from the CNN debate: "I think track records are very important." Using Fiorina's words against her, the spot juxtaposes her quote with clips of pundits saying she made "big mistakes in her corporate career.”
One source called Fiorina the 19th worst CEO of all time, and others called her time at HP a “reign of terror.”
Fiorina has been answering questions from political pundits and late night talk show hosts like Jimmy Fallon to defend her time at HP, but will Fiorina be able to convince voters that her HP track record is not a mark against her?
Make sure to stay tuned to I Agree to See as we follow Carly Fiorina's candidacy and the 2016 presidential election.
