Scaramucci Pitches Centrist Website
In a Twitter video, he announced his vision for "The Scaramucci Post," marked by confusing paradoxes: "The center lane in a two-line highway" and "Everything in moderation, including moderation."Harping on the centrist theme, but not really understanding how grandfather clocks work, Scaramucci said of his team, "We sort of feel that the pendulum on the clock split and went two ways, and so one part of the pendulum is sitting way far on the right and the other part of the pendulum is sitting way far on the left, and it's left an opportunity to be in the center lane..."
The Mooch Will Tell You What's Real and What's Fake
Scaramucci goes to say there will be "data-dependent articles about policy" and articles that will "help people decipher what is real news and news that's – lets call it 'fake.'"But lest you think this is going to be just another dry fact-check site, Scaramucci assures that "ultimately" the site will be a "world class experience."
Scaramucci ends by announcing a launch party at the Hunt and Fish Club. He does not mention that he is a part-owner of the club, and that the New York Post described it as a "haunt for bigwigs hunting for new deals and beauties fishing for rich husbands" and the venue's own promotional materials describe the interior design as "artistic/aristocratic fantasy."
