Incumbent Democratic Governor Democrat Jay Inslee released an ad this week highlighting his successes in creating jobs in Washington.
“The Day” opens with Inslee declaring, “From the first day I took office, I said we’d focus on jobs” and continues with people providing evidence of this promise. “We’ve seen the lowest unemployment rate,” says one woman. “The largest cut to college tuition in state history,” proclaims another student proudly.
At the end, the ad re-focuses on Inslee who claims that there is still more to be done. “We’ve made real progress, but there’s more to do. Let’s build a stronger economy and a better future, for every Washington family.”
Elway Poll is planning on polling likely voters after the Washington gubernatorial primary, which is on August 2. Washington utilizes a top-two primary system and Inslee and Bryant are both expected to secure the top spots.
