Yesterday, Donald Trump delivered a speech that laid out his plan to defeat ISIS – which included a new ideological test to keep immigrants with radical views out of the country.
"In the Cold War, we had an ideological screening test. The time is long overdue to develop a new screening test for the threats we face today. I call it extreme vetting. I call it extreme, extreme vetting," Trump said.
Part of the ideological test would weed out applicants who "do not believe in our Constitution or who support bigotry and hatred...”
The Briefing, Hillary Clinton’s opposition research arm, turned the tables on Trump’s test – trying to prove he wouldn’t be qualified to immigrate into the country based on his own test.
The 60-second political ad shows clips of when Trump most controversial remarks – banning Muslims, calling Mexicans rapists and considering appointing Supreme Court Justices to overrule the decision on same sex marriage.
“Donald Trump: out of step with American values. Just ask Donald Trump,” the video ends.
