Kellyanne Conway continues to be the stuff of nightmares among the fictitious CNN hosts on SNL. But this time the show's writers did something to maker her even more terrifying: morphed her into Pennywise, the clown from Stephen King's "It."
The skit features "Anderson Cooper" (Alex Moffat) as he wraps up his broadcast and heads home for the night, worried about the upcoming show because no one will give him a quote... besides Kellyanne Conway.
Just as he leaves, he drops his next day rundown into the gutter. As it's carried away by the rain, Anderson is beckoned to the storm drain where two bright glowing eyes draw him closer. It's Kellywise.
"Hiya, Coopie."
Anderson – terrified – turns to run away. “Wait, don’t go! Don’t you want a quote?” Kellywise asked. “I’ll give you a quote. A crazy, crazy quote. How about this?" she says as she morphs back into Kellyanne.
“OK, so, Puerto Rico actually was worse before hurricane Maria and the hurricane did actually blow some buildings back together. And I don’t know why Elizabeth Warren won’t tweet about that.”
"That's insane!" Anderson exclaims. "I know. Don't you want another one?
She adds another. "Okay, so Secretary Tillerson did not call the president a moron. They were sharing a sundae and the president asked if he wanted more sprinkles and the Secretary says 'More on.'"
Apparently Kellywise has been lurking down there for a while, luring unsuspecting victims into her lair. She definitely got to MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, and even Hillary Clinton.
Startled, Anderson wakes from his nightmare, only to find out it's more real than he thinks...
