Save My Care is an organization of families, advocates and healthcare providers that aims to protect the health and financial security of all Americans.
Save My Care launched a new 60-second political ad attacking Speaker Paul Ryan's "alternative facts" that he's laid out against the healthcare legislation.
We hear Ryan calling it "collapsing," "unraveling" and "unsustainable." "It's just not true," the narrator chimes in.
The ad then lays out the "real facts": lowest uninsured rate, 50,000 lives saved and up to 129 million people who are labeled as having "preexisting conditions" are no longer at risk of losing coverage.
The ad asks viewers to call their senators to not repeal the Affordable Care Act – especially since today, GOP congressional leaders repeated their promise to repeal the ACA.
In addition to the ad, the group launched a bus tour around the country to listen to people's stories about the Affordable Care Act – in an attempt to keep Congress accountable.
