Someone in the Donald Trump campaign seems to be convinced that Trump can lure a good chunk of disaffected Bernie Sanders voters to their campaign.
Trump has all but held out an open hand to Sanders voters, claiming even in his RNC speech that anti-Hillary Democrats should flock to him because of the “rigged system.”
Despite there being little evidence of a Berner migration to the GOP, pro-Trump super PAC Rebuilding America cut this ad, replaying Sanders’ primary attacks against Clinton’s paid Wall Street speeches.
One of Sanders’ sharpest attacks of the campaign was his call for Clinton to release the transcripts of her many paid speeches on Wall Street before she ran her second presidential campaign. Releasing the transcripts was essentially out of the question for the Clinton campaign, adding evidence to Sanders’ argument that she was too tight with Wall Street.
And now that the Democratic National Convention is underway, Sanders die-hards are making their last stand. From the Trump campaign’s perspective, that’s a perfect opportunity to remind disaffected Democrats that the #NeverHillary camp still has a home in the GOP.

‘Must Be A Pretty Good Speech…’
The Democratic primary may have never devolved into the slugfest that America witnessed on the Republican side, but at times it was no less vicious. One of Sanders’ sharpest attacks of the campaign was his call for Clinton to release the transcripts of her many paid speeches on Wall Street before she ran her second presidential campaign.
