After Donald Trump
released an Instagram video attacking Hillary Clinton as a punchline, Priorities USA, a pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC, altered his video to turn the tables on Trump.
Using the same images as Trump’s video – Vladmir Putin practicing Jiu-Jitsu and ISIS propaganda – the ad instead cuts to Trump saying, "because I have a very good brain and I've said a lot of things." The video replaces Putin giggling with Clinton laughing during the Benghazi hearing.
The ad ends, “We don’t need to be a punchline.”
The 2016 Presidential Primary Shifts to the General Election
Now that Trump has
started ignoring his primary rivals and pivoting to the general election, Hillary Clinton and her supporters are doing the same.
Priorities USA spokesman Justin Barasky
said in an emailed statement, "While the mess of a GOP nomination fight continues it's hard to argue after last Tuesday that Donald Trump isn't the front-runner and Priorities USA isn't going to commit the same political malpractice that the Republicans did and allow his attacks to go unanswered."
With Trump and Clinton as presumed frontrunners, we expect to see a lot more political ads like “Is This Who We Want?” coming down the pipelines as the fight for delegates continues. Make sure to
stay tuned!
