Priorities USA, a liberal super PAC dedicated to supporting Hilary Clinton – has attacked Donald Trump on practically every issue – women, foreign policy, his business acumen and so much more. In the last month alone, Priorities USA has released ten ads targeting Trump.
The super PAC continues to take shots at Trump in a newly released ad, “For America.” The attack ad features Paul Eaton – retired United States Army Major General – speaking out against Trump.
Eaton, dressed in a suit and tie, begins “I know the sacrifices our military makes,” citing his father’s death serving in Vietnam and his own thirty year career. “I’ve served everywhere from Iraq to Somalia where I’ve been responsible for the lives of our sons and daughters,” Eaton says while images of him and his father wearing fatigues appear on the screen.
The shot returns to Eaton as he announces that he cannot support Trump. “Donald Trump doesn’t have the temperament or judgment to be commander and chief,” says Eaton as he looks directly into the camera. “That’s why I am speaking out, for America,” Eaton finishes.
A final message in white letters ominously appears over a dark background, “Donald Trump Too Dangerous For America.”
Despite Priorities USA being a fiercely liberal super PAC and VoteVets.org being non-partisan, the two groups agreed that keeping Trump out of the White House is of vital importance.
And as an anti-Trump member of VoteVets.org and prominent military figure, Paul Eaton was perfect man for the ad.
