The question of Donald Trump’s temperament has recently taken a back seat in Clinton’s attacks. In recent weeks she has focused more on framing Trump as a shady deal maker with possible ties to Russian Oligarchs or an uninformed fraudster who only cares about money.
But in Hillary Clinton’s new ad, the question of “temperament” is put right back on the table in full force.
The camera then cuts to Trump kicking a protestor out of his rally, urging his audience to “knock the crap out of him, would you. Seriously.”
“Clear thinking,” the narrator adds as Trump claims he knows “more about ISIS than the generals do.” The narrator adds “calm judgement” to the list. Then Trump says, “and you can tell them to go f—k themselves.”
“Because all it takes is one wrong move,” the narrator concludes, as we hear the sound of a bomb whistling towards the ground under the roar of a jet engine. Trump adds, “I would bomb the s--t out of ‘em.”
