Lucy Flores, Democratic candidate for Nevada's 4th congressional district, launched the first political ad of her campaign today.
"Shoes" laces together images of Flores meeting with local constituents and walks us through her plan to fight special interests, expand Social Security, make education affordable and protect women's health.
“Lucy’s walked in our shoes,” the narrator explains, “and no one will fight harder for us.”
Flores' spot also highlights her support from progressive organizations such as MoveOn.org and Democracy for America.
In addition, the Democratic candidate has been a vocal supporter of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders – even cutting an ad with him when he was campaigning ahead of the Nevada caucuses.
Although Flores has a lot of progressive support, she faces a crowded Democratic field including State Senator Ruben Kihuen and political outsider Susie Lee.
The Nevada Democratic primary will be on June 14, 2016 – stay tuned as we follow the latest ads from the campaign trail.
