Mike Pence is making “headlines” again. Instead of job creation in Indiana that he touts in this political ad, it has been reported that Pence will be named Donald Trump’s running mate.
According to the Indianapolis Star, Pence is dropping his reelection bid for Indiana Governor to join Team Trump. However, Trump’s spokeswoman Hope Hicks said, “a decision has not been made.”
Donald Trump will make the formal announcement tomorrow, Friday, July 15 in New York City – most likely at Trump Towers.
Since Cruz dropped out of the race, Pence endorsed Trump explaining, “I’m fully supportive of our presumptive nominee, and I do think Donald Trump will do well in the State of Indiana.”

Update as of July 15: Trump announced his has officially chosen Pence as his running mate and will officially announce at a press conference tomorrow at 11am.

Trump-Pence 2016?
Governor Pence was not immediately a Trump fan. Before the Indiana presidential primary, Pence threw his support behind Ted Cruz. Trump overwhelmingly won that primary with 53% of the vote and securing all the delegates.Since Cruz dropped out of the race, Pence endorsed Trump explaining, “I’m fully supportive of our presumptive nominee, and I do think Donald Trump will do well in the State of Indiana.”
