Kelli Ward is running for Arizona Senate again, this time against the incumbent Senator Jeff Flake. As Ward has thrown her hat back into the political arena, ‘Chemtrails Kelli’ ads are returning as well.
A new ad released by the Senate Leadership Fund, a GOP Establishment super PAC headed by former aides of Mitch McConnell, brutally attacks the former State Senator.
Ward is not a friend of the GOP Establishment, she ran against John McCain in the 2016 Senate primary and lost decisively. Ward did not even wait a month before announcing she was running again for Senate, this time against Jeff Flake.
Ward is angling herself as more Pro-Trump than Senator Flake. In an ad released earlier in the month, she calls herself a “Pro-American Conservative.”
The Senate Leadership Fund’s newest ad uses the same line of attack that McCain’s campaign carried out – Ward used taxpayer resources to hold a town hall event on chemtrails. The ad quotes Ward saying she’s open to sponsoring legislation about chemtrails on behalf of constituents and saying she would host the town hall again.
The newest ad continues to attack Ward for saying that “John McCain is directly responsible for the rise of ISIS” but also calling for “restraint and realism” on how to respond to the terrorist organization.
The ad ends with dramatic music and a narrator stating, “Embarrassing behavior, dangerous ideas. No wonder Arizona Republicans rejected her just one year ago.”
Speculation is running wild about Trump’s upcoming rally in Phoenix. Trump is on the defensive after a week of intense criticism from his own party for not unequivocally condemning Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists. Sen. Flake and Kelli Ward will be watching tonight’s rally to see if Trump takes another swing at his own party.

Trump Backs Ward After Flake Criticizes the President
Flake is a first term Republican who has regularly spoken out against President Trump, and recently published a book that was heavily critical of him. Trump responded via tweet:As the President supports the opponent of a sitting member of his own party, the GOP Establishment is standing with Flake, who is considered one of the most vulnerable Republican Senators up for reelection in 2018. The Senate Primary is over a year away, but it is already off to an ugly start.Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He's toxic!

The Return of ‘Chemtrail Kelli’
John McCain attacked Ward for promoting the chemtrails myth – the conspiracy theory that the government is putting harmful chemicals in the trails left behind jets and airplanes. The Senate Leadership Fund’s newest ad uses the same line of attack that McCain’s campaign carried out – Ward used taxpayer resources to hold a town hall event on chemtrails. Will Trump Endorse Ward?
More and more Republican primaries are shaping up to be Establishment Republicans versus Trump Republicans.Speculation is running wild about Trump’s upcoming rally in Phoenix.
