Former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley announced he's running for United States President in 2016 – an announcement we all saw coming.
O’Malley, a Democrat, has been laying down the 2016 presidential groundwork for almost two years – releasing his "Believe” campaign video in November 2013, visiting battleground states, talking about “Bad Trade Deals” and now using “everyday Americans” in his political email blasts.
O’Malley still has to prove that he can challenge front-runner Hillary Clinton. So far he has distanced himself from Clinton on LGBT rights, Wall Street Reform and trade deals.
Public Policy Polling shows Martin O’Malley (2%) significantly behind Hillary Clinton (63%) and Bernie Sanders (13%), so he clearly has a tough road ahead.
Stay tuned to I Agree to See as we cover the 2016 presidential election as we continue to follow the political ads and videos from all of the presidential candidates.
