You might remember West Virginia senator Joe Manchin for being best buddies with Barack Obama. But in case you’d forgotten, Joe will remind you. Watch out! He’ll pick up his rifle and take dead aim...at the Cap and Trade bill?
That’s right. After West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd died in office, the State held a special election. At the time Manchin was Governor, but he stepped down to run for Senate.
In the ad, Joe tells West Virginians he’ll defend their 2nd Amendment rights -- while loading bullets into his rifle of course. He then promises to cut government spending and take “dead aim” at the Cap and Trade bill.
West Virginians elected the Democrat, but even Republican Dale Peterson would’ve enjoyed this ad.
