“The Clintons – from dead broke to worth hundreds of millions,” the ominous new Donald Trump political ad begins.
Trump, who promised yesterday that his “shackles” were coming off, is out with his second TV political ad this week – after barely running any political ads during the primary. Yesterday, his campaign slammed Hillary Clinton on bad health – now he is after her alleged “pay-to-play” tactics.
“Staggering amounts of cash poured into the Clinton Foundation from criminals, dictators, countries that hate America,” the narrator continues.
The ad accuses Clinton of leaving American workers behind while she made deals to benefit her own interests.
"Hillary Clinton knows nothing about creating jobs, but knows a lot about how to make money by abusing her and her husband's government positions," senior communications adviser Jason Miller said in a statement accompanying the new ad.
According to the campaign, the ad will air nationally and with a heavier presence in battleground states.
