Republicans were quick to release attack ads against Hillary Clinton after her official campaign rally in NYC. Marco Rubio’s campaign even released an attack ad the next morning, using Clinton’s own speech against her.
Rick Perry on the other hand, took a different approach to his attack strategy with “Hillary Goes to the Movies.”
While the spot may have viral potential among diehards, “Stop Hillary” probably won’t become this summer’s next blockbuster.
The ad starts with a silhouetted Hillary Clinton and a maniacal laugh before showing voters a “preview of coming of attractions” if Hillary Clinton becomes the Democratic nominee in the 2016 presidential election.
The ad snarls at Clinton’s “record of lies” including foreign contributions, her response to Benghazi and the secrecy surrounding her private email server.
While the execution is much different, the net effect is akin to the infamous Demon Sheep ad. Some will love it. Some will hate it. Most will find it bizarre.
Make sure to stay tuned to I Agree to See as we continue to follow the 2016 presidential election.
