Heartland Resurgence, a Republican super PAC, is taking aim at Democrat Jason Kander in the Missouri Senate race.
Kander recently made national news for a political ad where he assembles a rifle blindfolded. However, this super PAC wants voters to take a deeper look into the Democrat’s politics.
He’s a “Jefferson City politician,” a “bureaucrat” and a Hillary Clinton supporter, the narrator explains. And according to the group’s website, Kander handed out pay raises to his friends, failed to address voter fraud and has proven he’s “wrong” for Missouri.
In the ad, we see a sliding puzzle moving around trying to configure Kander’s face. At the end, however, when the narrator asks, “Who is Jason Kander?” half of his face is replaced with Hillary Clinton’s.
According to RealClearPolitics’ poll average, Kander has been closing the gap on Republican Senator Roy Blunt’s lead – and is now 2.3 points behind Blunt. With three weeks to go until Election Day, Heartland Resurgence and other Republican PACs are dedicating their resources to give Blunt an edge in the race.
