End Citizens United PAC, a PAC that helps Democrats who support campaign finance reform, launched its first major independent-expenditure campaign of the 2016 election – attacking Republican Joe Heck in Nevada and Senator Kelly Ayotte in New Hampshire on their connection to special interests.
The PAC shows that “cold hard cash” is piling up around Republican Joe Heck recently. The narrator claims Heck “voted with the billionaire Koch brother-backed agenda nearly 80% of the time.”
The ad will run statewide on broadcast and cable TV for two weeks as part of a $1.5 million statewide ad buy – and the PAC will spend $225,000 to run the ad online.
The 30-second ad “Town Hall” shows a Kelly Ayotte lookalike at a town hall. As she answers questions from seniors on one side, the lobbyists on the other tell her what to say and do.
"Getting Kelly Ayotte to side with us shouldn't be this hard," the narrator says.
“Town Hall” will run in New Hampshire statewide on broadcast and cable TV for the next two weeks as part of a $1.4 million ad buy. The PAC also spent $225,000 to run online as well.
