“Draft Biden,” the organization urging Vice President Joe Biden to jump into the Democratic presidential primary, has launched its second national television spot.
Some pundits argue that Biden is losing his chance at a possible strong start to a campaign – especially after Hillary Clinton’s strong performance at the first Democratic debate in Las Vegas. But “Draft Biden” isn’t giving up on Joe.
The ad, which is appropriately titled “Never Quit,” features black and white photos of struggling, working class American families with Biden’s nostalgic voiceover.
“Never Quit” aired before and after the first Democratic primary debate, as part of a $250,000 buy. The ad replaced the group’s first spot, “My Redemption,” which was pulled from the air at Biden’s request.
Although Biden still hasn’t made a decision about his 2016 plans, he watched the Democratic debate from home. Will this group’s ads inspire Uncle Joe to jump into the race?
