Correct the Record, a pro-Clinton super PAC, released its most recent ad against Donald Trump yesterday – this time tearing at his volatile temperament. Following in the footprints of their previous ads, the spot utilizes Trump’s comments to “speak for themselves.”
The ad opens with a clip from Trump’s interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos in which Trump defends his “winning temperament.” In the same interview, Trump attacks Clinton calling her “dishonest,” “weak” and has a “bad temperament.”
The ad continues with a rapid fire of clips in which Trump’s impulsive and controversial comments are shown. Among them are Trump’s opinions on how to deal with ISIS, his confidence in the loyalty of his supporters and how to deal with those who discredit him. The ad finishes by once again showing the opening clip in an effort to highlight the irony of Trump’s self-proclaimed “great temperament.”
Democrats are using Trump’s comments to highlight his ongoing issues with veterans and his lack of foreign policy experience.
Correct the Record’s “Temperamentally Unfit” will run digitally on social media platforms.
