Donald Trump’s campaign released the second installment of “Crooked Hillary’s Legendary Lies” – attacking Clinton on her email scandal.
The video starts off with a clip of Clinton from 2015 claiming there was no classified information sent from her personal email server. The ad cuts to several news reporters repudiating that statement, including CBS’s Charlie Rose reporting that there were “at least 2,101 classified messages” found.
Donald Trump pops up at the end of the video to share, “And to think that she has a shot at being president… Crooked Hillary Clinton, we can’t let it happen.”
Although one ad doesn’t necessarily determine a pattern, it will be interesting to see if Trump and the GOP have finally teamed up to drive the news cycle against Hillary Clinton.

Trumping the News Cycle
Yesterday, Donald Trump launched the first ad of this series, which resurrected the Benghazi scandal. The next morning, the House Benghazi committee released its long awaited 800-page report on their findings from the 2012 terrorist attack. The report faults the Obama administration – including then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton – for failing to protect the four Americans killed in the attacks.Although one ad doesn’t necessarily determine a pattern, it will be interesting to see if Trump and the GOP have finally teamed up to drive the news cycle against Hillary Clinton.
