Club for Growth, a conservative super PAC, launched an attack ad targeting Katie McGinty only a few hours after she secured the Democratic nomination for the Pennsylvania U.S. Senate election.
“McGinty ‘Revolving Door’” shows an actress resembling McGinty circling through a revolving door and claims she “profited from the revolving door of government and politics.”
The ad alleges that she “gave millions in grants to her husband’s company” while working for the state, left the government to become a lobbyist then came back to work for the government.
The McGinty team has seen this attack before – the National Republican Senatorial Committee released a “news report” where they sent a reporter into the field to question… a door.
With McGinty fresh off a primary win last night, Club for Growth’s attack ad is only the beginning of a long and heated Pennsylvania senate race against incumbent Republican Pat Toomey.
Stay tuned to I Agree to See as we continue to follow the election.
