The Nevada Democratic caucus is on Saturday, and it is shaping up to be a very tight race. The Sanders campaign is working hard to erode Hillary Clinton’s “Latino firewall” in the state, hoping to make the outcome of the Nevada Caucus look as close as it did in Iowa.
To give Bernie a late-in-the-game boost among Latinos in Nevada, the Sanders campaign released two Spanish-spoken ads in the state. One of the ads, “Efficaz,” or “Effective,” is a biographical ad introducing Sanders to Nevadans.
The second ad, “Funciona Así,” roughly translates into “It Works Well” – a Spanish version of Sanders’ “Works For Us All” spot which explains Sanders’ message of wealth inequality.
Not long ago, Hillary Clinton’s campaign commanded a double-digit lead in Nevada, but the latest polls from CNN in the state show Clinton and Sanders in a virtual tie there.
