Jake Zimmerman released a 15-second political ad to show voters ahead of the Democratic primary for Missouri Attorney General that he is the “reformer” candidate.
Zimmerman explains how he was “disgusted” by lobbyists by dinners for politicians. He promises to “prosecute corruption” – even if it’s found in his own party.
In addition to wiping out the corruption in Missouri, Zimmerman is taking aim at his opponent Teresa Hensley. The ad “Wrong” plops Hensley in the same bucket as the Republicans who are running “false and negative campaigns” – which has received a lot of attention recently.
Zimmerman and Hensley are virtually in a tie. The latest KSDK SurveyUSA poll shows Hensley leading Zimmerman 41% to 39% – with 20% undecided.
The primary is on August 2 – stay tuned as we continue to follow the latest political ads from the race.
