Ann Kirkpatrick, Democratic candidate for Arizona Senate, is kicking aside the recent attacks from her opponent Senator John McCain and focusing on a more positive message.
After McCain and the NRSC portrayed Kirkpatrick as someone who betrayed her constituents, Kirkpatrick’s ad team is hoping to boot that message out of voters’ minds with the latest ad, “New Leader.”
“Ann Kirkpatrick still has the pair of boots she bought while growing up in the White Mountains,” the narrator begins.
The ad shows she’s a no-nonsense, boot-wearing Arizonan – and that other people are following along in her footsteps.
As we see different pairs of boots stomping and kicking the ground, the narrator explains that she will “put her foot down” in Washington “and put Arizona first.”
The Kirkpatrick campaign is spending six figures to air the ad statewide on broadcast and cable television.
