Ok – this is obviously subjective, but it’s hard to argue that Dwight D. Eisenhower’s “I Like Ike” from the 1952 Presidential election campaign isn’t usually considered the catchiest political ad.
Not only does this political ad have an easy tune to sing along with, but it also has elephants, firemen, nurses, and none other than Uncle Sam all walking in unison for Ike.
It also helps that the creative geniuses behind this political ad was Irving Berlin, who wrote the jingle, and Walt Disney Studies, who animated the video.
