Tim Grayson is a 2016 Democratic candidate for California’s 14th State Assembly District. District 14 consists of Concord, southern parts of Vallejo and Mount Diablo. Grayson has been a longtime Critical Response Chaplain for the the Concord Police Department. He is a co-founder of the regions Central Family Justice Center which assists victims of domestic violence, human trafficking and child abuse.
Grayson was elected to the Concord City Council in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Grayson spearheaded Concord’s Fiscal Sustainability Ordinance to address the city’s fiscal liabilities. He wants to make crime prevention a real priority within the district. Grayson is also committed to creating programs that support families and youth, and an atmosphere where businesses and the local economy can thrive. He is married to Tammy and together they have two teenage children and have lived in Concord for 14 years.
