Elected in 2014, Eduardo Garcia is running for reelection for California’s 56th State Assembly District.
Before serving in the Assembly, Garcia was first elected to the Coachella City Council in November 2004. In 2006, at the age of 29, he became Coachella’s first elected Mayor. Under his leadership, the City of Coachella has transformed into an emerging social, economic, political and cultural center.
One of Garcia’s main priorities is to help upgrade California’s water systems, ensure access to healthcare and fight for public safety reforms.
