Democrat Adam Gray is the incumbent candidate for district 21 in the California State Assembly. District 21 includes all of Merced County and portions of Stanislaus County.
Adam Gray began his career as a legislative aide for former Assemblymember Dennis Cordoza. In 2012, he made a successful bid for the state assembly. He chairs the Governmental Organization Committee, and is a sitting member of the committees on Aging and Long-Term Care, and Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials. Gray lives in his hometown of Merced with his wife Cadee.
He attended Merced Community College and went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
