If you thought your Thanksgiving dinners were bad – with that one uncle who drinks a little too much and won’t stop talking about aliens – just be thankful you’re not sitting at this 2016 presidential hopeful table created by Walt Handelsman, a cartoonist from The Advocate.
Apparently, some people would be happy to host a presidential candidate for dinner.
Public Policy Polling asked a group of respondents, out of Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Hillary Clinton, Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, “which presidential candidate would you like to have over for Thanksgiving dinner the most?”
Hillary Clinton led the pack at 24%, followed by Ben Carson (18%) and Donald Trump (17%).
And when asked which candidate would most likely say something inappropriate and ruin Thanksgiving dinner, Donald Trump took the cake (or pumpkin pie) at 46%. Hillary Clinton placed second at 22%.
So, as you’re heading to grandma’s house and counting down the hours until you can be back home watching football, just be thankful that your Thanksgiving won’t be half as bad as being stuck in a room with all the 2016 presidential candidates at once.
